Every travel survey out there has the Italian Amalfi Coast as the top destination. Imagine our excitement when we had to Plan, Design, and Style this baby shower with Positano in mind! As it was not possible to fly 50 guests to Positano, we brought Positano to Toronto! We love the idea of playing around with natural elements. We were inspired by the colour scheme and architecture of Positano, and of course the fresh juicy lemons! The mother to be is having a boy, so we picked blue patterns from the vintage Italian ceramics. We tied all the details together with a stunning backdrop, a blue Vespa, and lots of greenery! Whether you are looking for something simple minimalistic or something completely one of the kind, we’ve got you covered!
The restaurant had the ideal traditional look, and it mixed perfectly with our modern design & décor ideas. We were able to bring the envisioned project to life, by combining traditional, authentic and contemporary elements.
The Lemon Garland and blue goblets created a beautiful colour contrast against the natural harvest wooden tables.
The blue Vespa was the focal point of the event. The plants and florals gave a fun, bright and warm vibe. We also created a little lounge area by the Vespa, for the guests to hang out and made it a beautiful spot for photos as well. We transformed the restaurant into the ultimate Italian garden party with the Positano view from the balcony!
There were so many details incorporated in this Amalfi Coast baby shower… From the farmer market seating chart to the lemon bottle stand!! We left nothing out! Personal touches like these are what make an event unique.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a personalized cocktail, “Blooming Positano” and charcuterie assortments. For lunch, they had a delicious three-course Italian meal, and yes, there was Pizza!!!
The desserts were beautifully displayed on our custom made stands. We wanted to make sure there were a diversity of desserts for every taste. We couldn’t miss cannoli!
It was an unforgettable day, surrounded by friends and family. We want to thank Iris for trusting us to create the baby shower of her dreams. We wish Iris and her husband that the baby boy brings a lifetime of blessings.
